Pumpcade uses embedded wallets powered by Privy to give you a seamless experience across the web app, browser extension, and livestream chats. You don’t need to manually sign every transaction.

How it works

When you log in to Pumpcade, we create an embedded wallet for you automatically. This wallet is:
  • Linked to your login: Your wallet is tied to your Phantom authentication
  • Managed by Privy: Secure key management without you handling seed phrases
  • Session-signed: You authorize Pumpcade to execute transactions on your behalf

You log in

Connect with Phantom on cade.market. Privy creates an embedded wallet for your account.

Session signer is set up

Pumpcade is designated as a session signer for your embedded wallet. This is a one-time authorization.

You make predictions anywhere

Whether you’re on the web app, using the extension, or typing in chat, Pumpcade can execute transactions for you without requiring a signature each time.

Session signers

A session signer is a trusted party that can sign transactions on behalf of your wallet. Think of it like giving Pumpcade permission to act on your instructions.

Why session signers?

Without session signers, every prediction would require:
  1. Opening your wallet extension
  2. Reviewing the transaction
  3. Clicking approve
This breaks the flow, especially when you’re watching a livestream and want to make a quick prediction from chat.

What can session signers do?

Session signers can only execute transactions you initiate. They cannot:
  • Transfer funds to arbitrary addresses
  • Change your wallet settings
  • Access funds beyond what’s in your Pumpcade balance
You’re always in control. Session signers only act on your explicit instructions, like typing predict 100 yes in chat.

Browser extension sync

The browser extension needs access to your wallet to place predictions from livestream pages. Here’s how the sync works:

Begin the extension sync on your profile

Go to your profile and click Chrome Extension. This begins the extension sync process.

Sign a message with your wallet

Sign a message with your embedded Pumpcade wallet. This proves ownership of your wallet.

Extension is synced

The extension can now place predictions using your embedded wallet. Your balance and predictions sync across all platforms.

Security

  • Wallet signatures are required to sync
  • Logging out of the extension requires syncing again

Chat predictions

When you type predict 100 yes in a Pump Fun livestream chat, here’s what happens:
For this to work, you need to link your Pump Fun wallet address in your profile.

External wallet linking

Your Pump Fun wallet (the one you use for chat) is different from your Pumpcade embedded wallet. Linking them allows Pumpcade to know that messages from your Pump Fun wallet should use your Pumpcade balance.
You can only have one external wallet linked at a time. Update it anytime from your profile.

Funds and balances

Your funds live in your Pumpcade embedded wallet. When you:
  • Deposit: Tokens move from your external wallet to your Pumpcade wallet
  • Predict: Tokens move from your balance to the market pool
  • Win: Tokens are returned to your Pumpcade wallet
  • Withdraw: Tokens move from your Pumpcade wallet to your external wallet
All of this happens on Solana. Your embedded wallet is a real Solana wallet with its own address.
